SweatyNinjas was formed with the amalgamation of ‘Sweaty’ Swetha and ‘Ninja’ Dev. Two individuals with starkly different personalities, but with a common passion for fitness.
They met on Instagram, became workout buddies and eventually one of the most sought after fitness influencers in the country.
They have been training clients online for a while now and bring with them the vast experience of different training disciplines and nutrition. They believe in transforming lives and not just bodies, giving individuals the necessary guidance to incorporate healthy habits of training and eating and making them understand that fitness is a way of life !
Suhail RahmanI come from a family of eaters. We literally live to eat. So my entire non-student life (12 years now) I’ve been constantly gaining weight. The alarm bell came 2 years ago in the form of severe fatty liver in a routine health checkup. From there on I’ve tried quite a few diets, all of which showed short term results. They were all about controlling the quantum of food. Invariably they all failed when I returned to normal lifestyle. I had once again reached my peak weight. This is when I chanced upon Dev’s video about their online fitness program. I wanted to try this as well although sceptical as usual. But the way Swetha and Dev have structured this is simply amazing. You just cannot help but improve your fitness levels. Dev was very clear on the outcome before I started off. He clearly told me that this is not a weight loss program, although that was my goal, he said this will help you achieve your goals systematically. I’d set a very high goal for myself. When i reached my peak I’d set a target of losing 19kgs in 100 days. I’ve now lost 18 kgs in 85 days. 11kg was lost during the 6 week program. My perspective on eating and fitness has totally changed. And for a change, I’ve done it without reducing the quantum of food, but only by changing the constituents. I’m pretty confident of continuing the diet for the rest of my life. The diet coupled with a tailor made workout plan depending on your body condition was a killer combination. Went for a routine checkup as soon as the program was completed and fatty liver has significantly reduced to only one level above normal. It’s been a wonderful journey. So good that I have now set new goals for the next batch with these two fitness freaks which I will be a part of. Cant wait for it to begin!
SupriyaI’d come to believe that my genetics, circumstances (and rotten luck), nothing wanted me to be healthy! A knee problem kept me from working out but my idea of diet “no fat, no sweets, low carbs” did nothing to bring the needle down. Cholesterol had crept in and thyroid was on the horizon. A come home personal trainer helped me lose 15 pounds in 11 months, but a quick BMR check revealed that I’d lost everything but fat, whose poundage was now 41% of my body weight! A month of travel and my weight went up significantly. I was devastated! Sweaty and Ninja happened when I was all set to give up! I was happily intrigued when they asked me not to look at a weighing machine for the duration of the program! Every day, was like being in some sort of personality development camp, wherein, you come to appreciate your body, know how to challenge it respectfully. Most importantly understanding food in terms of nutrition and how impactful it is in transformation as you start noticing changes! It is now no longer about “I’ll eat what I want once I hit my ideal weight” but “I know what I am eating and it is still what I want and ideal weight will happen”. Healthier and stronger The workouts were awesome to say the least! I tried so many new things, got past some mental blocks and showed myself just how strong I can be! Sure there's so much more to learn and perfect, but I'm super happy with my progress through the program! Thanks guys for presenting these challenges and appreciating even the baby steps in some cases! I'm definitely a better, healthier version of myself now and I'm excited that I'm only just getting started! Here's to more awesomeness with guys soon!
Nidhi GouriI found the SweatyNinjas a year ago on Instagram and followed their journey and was intrigued. Over the past year I went through a lot of changes, in my personal and professional life and somehow ignored my body and gained a lot of inches and 5 kgs, and felt pretty low. I kept trying to lose weight but I couldn't find the motivation. I contacted Swetha and she took the time to understand my goals, my habits and eating habits. Swetha and Dev then introduced me to their program, which almost felt like the coolest cult I got to be a part of. There were people just like me with different stories who motivated each other and were kept in check by the Ninjas, through custom made weekly meal and work out plans. Nothing felt extreme or cold turkey, we were gradually eased into the program. I learnt things about food that I never cared about, I ate more vegetables than I've ever eaten, and I felt my energy levels and mood at an absolute high. They helped me train towards my goals of a half marathon which I will be doing next month. They're kind, they tailor make the program to your needs and they genuinely care. That's a great combination to have and I would recommend this program to anyone. I lost 6 kilos in spite of gaining muscle, and gained my sanity back with it . I'm the slimmest and fittest I've ever been and actually have abs! I was so happy with term 1 that my mom did term 2 with me and she's almost 5 kilos down and so much happier. I couldn't recommend them enough!
